One day I noticed SPY traded cleaner than TVIX/UVXY (in terms of holding s/r and trendlines), and not having an account big enough to really capitalize on SPY, that lead me to the ES. For all trading risk/reword is what you need to understand, it's what separates it from gambling. And I don't know any traders that are successful with indicators.
