I put slightly over 2 qts of oil in it, and when off, the oil level in the window is half way between the marks. But when the motor is running, the level of oil is right at the bottom line.I used wet clutch oil for ATV, Mobile 1. 10W40. No I did not check the thickness. I do have a manual but i did not check the thickness, new clutch. IT was slipping in all gears before i replaced the old clutch.
