Lincoln sp 125 plus problems.
It started humming and blowing breakers so i did the research and tested the diodes. They failed. People are saying to replace all of them at same time because if one fails then it usually takes out the other. i found the 9sm9661-39 and 9sm9661-39r diodes online but they are running like 50 each. i remember while searching for a cheaper option ...

It was stored in my dads basement on the floor and the city storm drain backed up and put 3in of water into the machine. If your machine is a SP-125T, check the voltage selector switch. A bad switch will kill both weld power and wire feed. A bad switch will also prevent power from getting to the rectifier. A bad rectifier will take out both weld and wire feed in either an SP-125T or an SP-125-PLUS. Cheers,

I was welding the other day and in the middle of a bead, it stopped welding. Cheers,Mar 23, 2017 · Do this, you have to the wire back on to the reel. Once the gun is off, take a small piece of mig wire, bent into a u shape and poke it into the two gun switch cables. This will bridge the switch circuit and make the welder feed. If it works, the problem is the gun, (tip, liner) and if it doesnt, the issue is somewhere else in your machine. It doesn't matter whether you measure amps or volts because it' the watts (power) that make heat. A 120V MIG welder turned all the way up will put out about 90A at 18V, around 1600W. A stick weld with a 3/32" 7018 or 1/8" 6010/6011 at 85A will be around 26V or 2200W, significantly more power.

One thing you can try is turn the igntion switch towards the run postion stopping just short of activating the electronics.Then try and move shifter to neutral then you can start it and out it into gear so you can drive it to get it fixed.

Its a wel pak 100 door but its not a weld pak 100. It doesnt have the tap amp dial like it suggests, it has the continuous adjustment knob on top.
