Well, we about beat the crank out of the block, but haven't broke one yet. Started out as a well used LB7, built and ran a full year at 900-1200HP and re-built it this month. They all do it, but the LB7/LLY cranks have a little more weight to them so they are preferred if you're building the motor. Not sure if it makes a difference which crank you have, I did go with a used LLY crank that was mag tested in my LMM though. Once you remove that hub then you can see the cam gear and pin. It might be fine, and your issue is just the hub in front of it. You should be able to pull that off with a puller. About 2 weeks ago on the way to work the truck started bucking violently and died. Pulled codes and got p0366 crank sensor. Took it to a mechanic I know and he replaced crank sensor. It still throws the code after clearing it when cranking. We are getting power and signal from both the crank and cam sensor. The reluctor wheel is tight.

I Swapped the motor now I’m having a No Crank / No start Issue. Thought maybe bad wiring harness so I swapped harnesses, Wasn’t the issue, Doing that same thing. The starter does work!
