I 485 case transferred to national benefits center

Hey, guys, has anyone here had their I-485 transferred to National Benefits Center for processing? My husband and I just got notices that our case was sent there. I looked on the USCIS website for processing times and I-485 is not even on the list of types of applications they process.

In the notice it says it was sent there to “speed up the process”. Other than the obvious, I have no idea what that means nor can they do anything other than adjudicate up until my PD is current. For reference, my i485 EB2 was transferred to NBC last 3/2023. No change at all to status until it was approved on 9/2023.
